About

Alex Jørgensen is a Norwegian–Lebanese journalist based in Norway, reporting on politics, conflict and human rights, with a particular focus on Lebanon and Palestine.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in media and journalism and a master’s degree in political science. This background shapes a reporting approach that examines both events on the ground and the political structures, decisions and systems behind them.

His work focuses on the human consequences of war and political violence—particularly the experiences of civilians, families and communities whose lives are often reduced to casualty figures or brief headlines.

Through reporting, interviews, photography and podcasting, Alex documents personal testimony while placing individual stories within their wider political and historical context. His Stories of War project is dedicated to preserving the names, memories and experiences of people affected by conflict.

His journalism is guided by context, accountability and respect for human dignity. The aim is to make complex political realities understandable without losing sight of the people living through them.
